Bunkers Hill
I'm the King of Bunkers Hill, I can fight and I can Kill! The childhood rhyme I learned growing up in the deep snow was passed down to my offspring today! Jared's friend who works for the county came out to plow roads our way. He came to say Hi to Jared and ended up pushing snow in the back where our new barn will be built this spring. It just so happens that we now hat 15 foot high snow banks. Right on! My Kids spotted them the minute they got home from school and were out there for hours playing past dark. It brought back so many memories for me thinking about doing that very same thing with my brothers Kirby, Kyle and Cody. Jumping , rolling and sleighing down. We never knew it was cold! We were always having too much fun! We'll have to have a Bunker Hill Party for old time sake. What do you say Brothers???? Sharing moments with your kids similiar to moments you cherish as a child make life worth living!!!!!

Jared Learned to Snowboard
Can you believe it!!!! My husband took a day off and went with us to ski school and learned to snow board. I had the opportunity to buy gear for fifty percent off so I decided to buy myself and Jared snowboards. Mind you Jared has never boarded in his life but said he would give it a shot.
The day comes and the kids and I were VERY EXCITED to witness this event. YOu see secretly I was wanting see him struggle at something seems how everything he tries seems to come natural to him. You should see the guy ride a horse. No , he is no professional but the most knot headed beast will purr like a kitten if he gets on it, among other examples of his can do anything skills. So any way..... we strap the board on and teach him how to walk with one foot out to the lift. NO Prob! I fell on my tush sixty five times the first time I tried this. Up the hill we go on the lift. The Dismount was near perfect! I still fall on my butt!!!!!! Ohhhh! Now comes the hard part. Down the hill. Ya he fell. A few times. That was it. He did Three runs his first day and now is ready for more. I did half a run my first day and walked out the rest because I was sooooooooo exausted from falling so much. Jealous am I but soo excited to have a family sport that we all love. Maurlee is now the only one left to learn. Next Year for sure. Here's to Jared.... Good Job! And just for the record.. I will find your Hercules week spot if it is the last thing I do. Pictures next week. I forgot to take my camera to this Fabulous event.

Wyoming Weekend
I have been waiting for something eventfull to blog. Not much happening here. I had a spur of the moment weekend and had the opportunity to go the Wyoming and stay with my husband. Great friends saw a need and swooped in to help with the kids. I have to say the alone time was needed. It was good to see the eviroment my husband lives in when he is not with us. The house is dated but nice. What was unacceptable was finding that his sleeping quarters was still his old twin mattress laying on the floor. He works way to hard to be doing that so I took a little jont around Pine Dale and found a furniture store. I bought him a new bed and made some new friends. Mike and Donna who so kindly took me for a tour of the town and took me to the grocery store. She not only took me there she saved my time by helping find all my items on my list. What nice people. I hope to see them again to. I went back to the house and made dinner for Jared and his roomates, did a little cleaning and got his new bed set up. He was greatful when he got home to see the bed. OF course he would have never done that for himself. I feel bad that he is so unselfish and works so hard so we can have nice things here but yet he lives like a popper there. I will not stand for it any longer. Any way Im also so lucky to have great friends to see a need and help. What would I do with out them. I love my hus I would love to have him home all the time. We are seriously contemplating starting our own electrical and house flip business. A move we have feared but it's looking like that is where the road is headed.

A Fear Conquered!!!!
I have to share this story! For any one that knows our Tato Bug they know that he has anxiety over day to day things. So when mom gets this Big Idea to slip him into ski- school because she just happens to be one in charge of the program for kids uuhhhh 3rd grade and up, take note Tato is in Kindeegarten, Taedyns stress level sores through the roof. Now, I did not spring this on him until the night before because history has taught me that doing that creates stress for all! Any hoo.... we get there the first week, get him all suited up and skis on and I took him to his teacher and ran.... with and ache in my heart because I knew how scared he was but also knowing how much he would love it if he just gave it a shot. After the first day he was up on skis and holding onto the tow rope and sliding down the Bunny Hill. Keep this in mind ... the Lift for the Mountain goes over head above this tow rope he spent two weeks on. Week three.. time to go on the lift. All week before he asks about the lift and if it is scary and if I will go with him. "Yes, Yes Tato I will go with you."We'll circumstances did not allow me to go with him that week ( teaching mamas like me to snowboard, I do have a soft spot in my heart for them! Every mama should do it!)and he refused to go with his teacher. So once again he played on the tow rope. Week Four.... My priority was my son. We got there and ready to go. He put every stop he could think of to not have to ride that lift. Would not put his gloves and coat on and once I forcfully got them on he plopped on the ground and told me he was not going. Picture this... Me with snow board hooket to one foot pulling him with skis on both feet , again forcfully, to the lift. We get there the chair comes around and I could hear Taedyn say under his breath ahh ahhh ahhh ohhh noooo..... and were off!!!! Going for the top of the mountain! I looked over and there is a great BIG SMILE :) on his face. Until.... he realized he had to also GET OFF! Longer story short. This child was forced to face a real fear and learned that something great came out of it because he now counts the days to ski school again. oh by the way.... one more time with mama was all he needed. He is now is a pro and rides the lift all on his own. We'll with friends of course. Luv you Bug!!!!!
